This video compiles several clips taken from WPIX, New York City's channel 11, recorded December 1980. First up is a garbled NBO ad, then a holiday spot for CBS Records (featuring then-current releases from Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Money, and Willie Nelson), and a Tech Hi-Fi ad. From another point in the recording I took a station ID with a promo for the Hollywood Christmas Parade, with hosts Bob Eubanks and Lee Meriwether, including glimpses of Gavin MacLeod, Johnny Mathis, Barbara Eden, Danny Thomas, Levar Burton, Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood. Finally, I had a split-second of a "Happy Chanukah" slide (taken from a different recording from around the same time) which I expanded to a few seconds. No rights held or implied.
