http://www.TheNashvilleHype.com -- This is a story from way back in 2006 -- and with Willie having played the CMA Awards Show 2019 last night, and everyone talking about him like his career and life is over, I wanted to take this clip and move it from the Paul King Show over here to The Nashville Hype! ....

The day before he played the CMA's he booked my town in Florida -- 2/20/2020 ... so I don't think for a second he's going anywhere - other than back out on the road.... though I would suggest seeing him if you have the chance ... because 86 years young is still 12 years more than my friend Johnny Cash had ... or there a'bouts....

And so, here's my Willie story ... and I love remembering it -- because it's SO UNIQUE to the man I had only met a few minutes before, but looked up to my entire life.
