Willie Nelson, an American country singer, was born in Texas in 1933 into a very poor family and was abandoned by his parents at a young age. Left with his grandparents, Willie started to learn the guitar which drove him to the absolute desire to pursue a career in music, despite the challenges it would cause. Such dedication paid off in 1960, when he arrived in Nashville with his guitar and song-writing abilities, having recordings by Patsy Cline and Ray Price. His voice set him apart and he shifted thirty one million albums worldwide.
