I hope ya all enjoy the video! I’ve had the great pleasure seeing Willie Nelson twice in concert and I thought he put on a great show the times I’ve seen him. He has done some wonderful duets with Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, Webb Pierce, Roger Miller, Ray Price, and Kenny Rogers etc. He was in a band called The Highwaymen in the 1980’s and 1990’s along with Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson in which he also did duets with them before The Highwaymen even started. The first time I saw Willie in concert and it was in 2014 at Murray Kentucky which is an hour where I live. My dad and my uncle Jason went with me to the first show. The opening act for the 2014 show was Allison Krauss. Before the show, I did not know what an opening act was at the time but I kept thinking to myself, When is Willie going to perform? quite a few times. The second show was at Cape Girardeau Missouri which is an hour and a half where Metropolis which is my hometown. The second show was in the spring of 2018. The opening acts for that show were Dwight Yoakam, Brandy Clark and Robert Earl Keen. I enjoyed the opening acts more than I did in 2014. It was only dad and I that went to the 2018 show. FYI/ Willie Nelson is all ages. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you gotta love on some good ole Willie. He is my favorite Country music singer of all time. I’m thankful that he is still with us!
