Happy 90th Willie Nelson!
In 2004 I made a fun barter deal with Sara Hickman to do several string arrangements for her, and one day in 2010 she called me to cash in one of those for this song to be sung by Willie Nelson. Such an honor to write the arrangement and get to play next to an American icon. The song it so sweet and heartfelt. Give it a listen, it just might change the trajectory of your day. - Love, Will
