Many people associate substance use with the rock industry. Still, Cash proved that no one is exempt from falling into the clutches of addictions due to their self-destructive behavior.

These pills quickly became a part of his life, giving him what he needed to do more concerts and have a lot of energy on stage. But the price he ended up paying was too high.

He lost his family, almost lost his life and career. Of course, Johnny ended up getting banned from "The Grand Ole Opry" after an episode where he showed how aggressive his behavior had become.
