George Wallace as the presidential nominee and the stormy sessions that will possibly result from this. Phil Reynolds goes on to report from North Mesquite High School in Dallas, and he describes how both the Wallace and George McGovern campaigns have a formed a coalition to take over senatorial district conventions. In an interview, Earl Luna, Dallas County Democratic Chairman, talks about the upcoming delegations; he says that the Wallace group will have the majority. 3:19, 16:46, 23:33 - Last evening, representatives from the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) union held a meeting at the Lone Star Gas Co. auditorium to see the viability of starting a local AFT chapter in Fort Worth. In an interview, Morris Haynes, president of the Fort Worth Classroom Teachers Association (CTA), says that he doesn't feel the AFT can represent teachers better than the CTA. Harry Wilson, I. M. Terrell High School teacher that called the AFT meeting, is also interviewed. Jim Green reporting. Additional silent footage of Haynes' interview. Wilson says that "the name of the game" is negotiation and that the best negotiators are the AFT. Wilson says that he just wants to change and reform the CTA; he says that he doesn't believe in strikes and that there's misinformation surrounding AFT's history with striking.

4:15, 17:35 - The $125,000 National Invitation Tournament is underway at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth. In an interview, golfer Dave Stockton talks about the difficulties of the course. Jerry Heard gives a synopsis of his round and his strategy going forward. Lee Elder talks about his difficulties with Hole 18. James Jackson and Jerry Haynes reporting. 10:45, 20:24 - A report on the preparations near the Woodall Rodgers Freeway in downtown Dallas for the upcoming youth evangelical training conference and religious rock festival titled "EXPLO '72" (sponsored by the Campus Crusade for Christ); the Woodall location will be the focal point for the event; performers include Johnny Cash, June Carter, Kris Kristofferson, and the New Folk Singers, amongst others; the report goes on to describe the problems surrounding the event including room & board, transportation, and food. Speaking to the volunteer workers for the event, Campus Crusade founder, Bill Bright, praises their efforts and talks about their next steps. Jerry Park reporting from Woodall.
