And I'm a big Waylon Jennings fan I loved him ever since the day I met him I was driving through Phoenix one day going somewhere and I heard a record on the radio by Waylon before I'd ever met him And I got a copy of that record and brought it to Nashville and recorded both sides of it One of them he wrote Just Satisfy You The other side was a song called Four Strong Winds And it came out Four Strong Winds was a big hit And on my way to Vegas the next day I stopped the pay phone and I got thinking about it and I called Chet and I said Chet you have got to record this guy I said he is one of the greatest talents I ever heard And I said I know that I'm cutting my own throat doing it because he does the same type of songs I do except I think he does it
