a song that been covered many times...Waylon actually released his version the following year in March after this performance in 1972.Written by Kris Kristoferrson & 1st recorded by Roger Miller in 1969.Another well known version was by Janis Joplin in 1971 which was released 4 months after she died from an accidental drug overdose.It was her only hit that made it to #1....very cool Waylon & band instrumental near the end,well worth a listen
