Filmed at the Zillertal Restaurant in Pretoria, it became the longest-running South African middle-of-the-road music show of its time. This remarkable achievement earned Bruce a coveted award and the nickname "The Midnight Cowboy," believed to be humorously coined by the renowned Lance James.
