This video works on trunk rotation, trunk righting and trunk strengthening through rotation and forward/backward movements that mimic using an oar in a kayak and in a canoe. The repetitive movements will have you sweating after about a minute! You also get the bonus of working your abdominals in the front and your obliques and sides, as well as a nice stretch on your low back and hamstrings. If you can't keep your posture upright with your legs out, switch them to a criss-cross style. This will decrease the stretch on your hamstrings and will make it easier to sit up straight.
