The Highwayman

School children in the 1970's will remember this series fondly. Long before Harry Potter, this magical set of books tells the story of of Tim and his adventures with the Hidden People, and as it was part of an educational series, the books got harder to read with each series.

Long out of print, and with little sign of a reprint forthcoming, these books brought the joy of reading to a generation. I've been lucky enough to have "copies", which I read to my own children as they grew up.

I present this reading of the second book, and hope to follow up with more. I've tided up the pictures and read it aloud, with backing music and sound effects for a Jackanory vibe.

If enough people like it, I'll record and slowly upload the rest of the series. If not, then I'll keep going just for my future grandchildren, just in case I never get to meet them in person. Please show your support by liking and subscribing to my channel.
