There are electric car conversions of existing internal combustion engine cars.

And then there a pieces of art.

This 1970s Rolls Royce Silver Shadow - Once owned by the late great Johnny Cash, fits into the latter.

After selling at auction several years ago for more than $88,000 U.S., this famous car had plenty of mechanical problems. So the new owner set the team at Shift EV the ultimate challenge:

Convert it to all-electric without any major modifications to the interior or exterior of the vehicle.

And when they said "convert" they really meant it, paying for the team to buy a brand-new 2016 Tesla Model S 75... and transplant its every system into this iconic ride.
