I'm test driving a baritone B bender Tele, made from various Squire parts and a newly installed Forrest bender.
Hope you dig it! If you want a bender, go to:

BTW. I consider myself a has been there, done that, guitarist.
So if you give 2 shits about my technique, you probably play better than me. Enjoy it while it lasts. Yeah, I've played major tours with multiple major label artists. During their success, and during their decline. I've opened for everybody from Garth Brooks to Merle Haggard, from Night Ranger to Lonestar, from Travis Tritt to Loverboy, and from Billy Ray Cyrus to Vince Gill. Spoiler alert, NOBODY WAS BETTER THAN VINCE GILL, BOTH TIMES... NOBODY WILL EVER TOP THAT BAND, PERIOD.
2 things to consider.
1. If you love to play guitar, be careful with your hands. Not just cutting fingers off or breaking them, etc... but swinging a hammer or twisting a screwdriver (that's the worst!).
Holding any vibrating power tools will destroy your dexterity.
Trust me. I have lost 50 percent of my speed and agility since I started this B bender install and guitar building company.
2. Age is a good thing. If you live through all your friends dying too young, you're doing it right! Trust in yourself. Trust in a higher power. I'm not saying worship anybody or anything, etc... but trust that you have a talent that only a select few have. And that's a blessing. So don't believe you are better than anybody, regardless of their skill level. Because you are no better than before you started, and how it will end. Skill level is fleeting.
I fell into the "I'm faster than any country guitarist" trap.
And I was pretty dang fast.
But right after, I was the king of new guitarist guys in 1995... My buddy Johnny Hiland moved to Nashville. And that was a short reign at the throne of "who's that new kid in town everybody's talking about" less than a year. But I never thought of myself as the best of anything. I got labeled. Don't let that happen to you!
I moved to Nashville to be an artist. I'm a singer-songwriter who just happens to play guitar pretty dang good. But I sing and write. And it's luck or money that gets those talents to the next level. Mostly the latter.
So imm end this one by saying, I know if you read this. We're probably friends or Facebook friends.
Because nobody reads the fine print of a description. So thank you for your support. I truly appreciate you.
