This week I am back where it all started for me. This place was the start of my interest in ghosts. I thought it was fitting to begin 2023 with where my interest started.
I am back in Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, In an old Lane which is surrounded by myths as well as some facts.
We know Highwaymen operated in the area and one is in fact buried close by between berkhamstead and Hemel Hempstead. His name was James Snooks - The last highwayman to hang in England. Hung in 1802. He operated between Tring and Hemel. So, could have easily roamed this lane, waiting by the wood to catch an unsuspecting victim.
Join me to see if I can find out if this lane really is haunted and by whom, and see if I can see the ghost that started all this. And validate my Dads and my own experience down this super creepy lane from when I was a kid.
