The Highwaymen comprenez „‟ Bandits de grands chemins „‟ était un groupe musical composé de 4 grands de la Country Music, à savoir : Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, et Kris Kristofferson. Le courant musical qui unira en 1985 le quatuor „‟ L’Outlaw Country’’, apparaît au milieu des années 60. Ce style qui se veut être une barrière à l'arrivée du courant pop dans la musique country, rassemblera sur scène ces quatre artistes réunis pour un projet commun : conserver intacte la country music.
