Initially, I didn't intend to make any song about the Highwayman. It was part of my desire to create Fallout lore-friendly types of commercials, which I come up with while playing quite often. (Believe me, I've got a Fallout-problem, a many years long addiction, fandom... whatever, my family and I have made our peace with it! ha!)

This and the A-side (which I feel is still the better one, but marginally) are from the commercial - which I thought up but didn't make until after I had done the song. "Nothing Stops a Highwayman, oh no!" came out and thoughts of the whole rat race, and how one of the Chryslus-Corvega slogans are about winning the race... I just feel the Highwayman is the superior automobile, because it isn't playing to win any races and neither are its drivers! I thought of The Chosen and how he would be in the Pre-War world, and if he was just a kid who was just tryin to not be boxed in by expectations of his family or stuck doing the same task, instead embracing the legacy of his forefather~ and takin' off, sure.... sure... he'll still be the hero at the end of the day. But, now he's got a Highwayman, and no one to boss him around! (-the writer cannot hold a single train of thought together for more than 15 seconds!- fact!) - please, enjoy~ or let me know I'm doing a horrible job or something if you feel the need, constructive criticism is always appreciated!
