Charlie Poole and the North Carolina Ramblers do this version of the old folk song, "Slack Your Rope Hangman." Remastered directly from an extremely beat-up, noisy Columbia 78rpm record I almost just tossed out. Obviously someone loved this record, and played it into powder with those early steel needles.
