“I’m your man”, Leonard Cohen thought, introducing himself as Kris Kristofferson to the wonderful Mrs. Joplin in the elevator of the Chelsea Hotel in New York back in 1968. After all, feeling good was easy, when Janis sang the Blues.
But as he says in my epilogue in a song he never recorded: It sometimes also feels so good to wake up in the morning all by yourself....
