This is a highlights reel of an August 15th, 1971 concert featuring Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Three, Carl Perkins, The Statler Brothers, Mother Maybelle & The Carter Sisters, with a special appearance by Sara Carter along with her son Joe. This concert was held the day before a monument dedication ceremony in Bristol, VA to unveil a monument honoring the 1927 Sessions of both The Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers.

A former member of The Carter family Fan Club, Melissa Miller, obtained this footage and sent it to President of the Carter Family Fan Club Peggy Marsheck. Peggy provided me the footage so I could upload it to Youtube.

There is no sound with the footage. The music heard is simply background music, which is why the film and music do not line up. I am presenting this footage just as it was handed to me. I Hope all fans of The Carter Family will enjoy seeing this special footage.
