This is a beautiful restoration of the 1996 feature documentary of The Beach Boys called Nashville Sounds: The Making Of Stars And Stripes. It took 20 hours of processing time to remove all the grain and noise, fix the color, upscale it to 720p HD, alter contrast, lay down the remastered audio and more.

The before and after in the Bonus Feature at the end of this film is dramatic! Not only has the sound been upgraded but the picture is night and day!

Some people don't like country so this won't be their genre of choice but I implore you to watch it though. Not only is this one of our last glimpses of Carl Wilson performing, but the band and the background vocals sound better than EVER! I would love to hear this with The Beach Boys singing lead over these tracks as well!

Some parts are The Beach Boys singing on their own, practicing the backgrounds, so to all you non-country fans, please give it a chance. You will find moments you enjoy as well.
