Even in Melodifestivalen years that aren't the best, I usually have about ten songs that I like. This year, I'd venture that I actually enjoy my entire top twenty! It's a really good lineup.

I don't know if it has an obvious, can't-fail winner, in it. I think it's safe to say that a really big ESC jury swing (And we know Sweden can get those) would be needed to go back-to-back.

Honestly, I'd like to see Sweden go with Danny or Dotter this year since they both have good-not-great songs and there's not an obvious winner here. They're also hosting so it might be a good year to just give it to an act that has put in the effort over multiple years and deserve it.

Either way, Sweden is going to be safely in the top ten with whatever song they pick.
