I have always felt the loneliest on a Sunday! Looking back at my life I have had more Sundays coming down than I care to admit. I've suffered with drug and alcohol addiction for the majority of my life and finally have freed myself of it all. I learned this song when I was a teenager and became a huge Kris Kristofferson fan. I moved to Nashville at 23 in 1975 to follow in his footsteps and other great songwriters like him. I'm still following although I've moved around the country experiencing other music cities! This song has always hit home for me. It was always an inspiration for getting clean and of course excellent songwriting. I have been fortunate to meet him a few times and he is a beautiful man and always gives me inspiration and tells me to keep writing. I have always kept writing which is my first love and I struggle through the performance side.
