We kick off every year with some Waylon around here! That rhymes. I always end up back at Waylon Live. The thousand times I've listened to this solo I never thought it was all on one fret. Simply amazing how Ralph uses syncopation and the full range of strings to create such a complex solo. We still get a classic Mooney lick with the Rainy Day Woman tag at the end. Recorded in 1974. Released in 1976.
