Timothy D. Kennedy, 29, of Matewan was arraigned Saturday morning by Mingo County Magistrate Jim Harvey on the capital offense that carries a possible penalty of life in prison, if convicted. He is accused of shooting and killing Sgt. Cory Maynard.
