SideShow Annie call this their “psychedelic pop song.” Inspired after lead singer Gillian watched a late-night documentary on the original guitarist of her favourite rock band, who suffered from drug induced schizophrenia, subsequently left his band, and was retreated as a recluse. He was known for his whimsical style of psychedelia and English accented singing.

As the song was being birthed, many of Gilly’s own memories came rushing in, as she too is born in London and spent some of her life living there, so this song became very close to her heart.

Many of us have known/know people who suffer mental illness, and all of us at some time wish we could escape the mundane, not have to explain our actions, or be held accountable all the time. It's just another ambiguous day.
