The Robbers' Ravine bridge has been installed along the Johnny Cash Trail in Folsom.
The 150-foot long wooden bridge will offer trail goers views of Folsom Prison, the American River, and the ravine below.
The bridge was designed and built in Oregon and then assembled piece by piece in Folsom by Westcon Construction. One of the largest cranes in the west coast was needed to lift the 80,000 pound bridge into place.
Robbers' Ravine was once a hideout for outlaws who robbed stagecoaches in the mid- to late- 1800s. Now the ravine is part of Folsom's tribute to another outlaw, Johnny Cash, as part of the Johnny Cash Trail art experience in Folsom.
