"Sweet Bunyore" is the third song on my album "Never Alone: Kenya's tribute to country". Written in 1999 while on a ministry trip in California. It was recorded two years later at New Life Sound studios, Goshen, Indiana and released officially about a year later in Kenya. I wanted an authentic Country sound and so looked for a country band and three great vocalists that were signed by New Life and got what I wanted. The song is a deep, nostalgic personal recollection of how going back to God and tracing your steps back to your roots and simplicity in life is the answer for loneliness, meaning and purpose. Acts 17:25-26 says, " From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands". I am proud to be from Kenya and Bunyore. Please tell me what you honestly think and feel about this song, good or bad, by commenting here. Thank you for your love and support through the years - Reuben Kigame, Eldoret.
