On April 1, 1934, Bonnie and Clyde killed two policemen in Grapevine Texas while on the run. This part of town became Southlake in the 1950’s, but a marker stands near the site today. You can see a portrayal of this part of history in the Netflix movie ‘The Highwaymen’
