Lyrics & Production: By Crazy Daddy
Spell check by: Nobody - I self identify as a poor spellzer
Original: Old Town Road by Lil Nas X - featuring Billy Ray Cyrus
A few years back our family started an annual tradition of creating a music video & parody of a popular song as a fun creative way to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim (http://www.aish.com/h/pur/f/48970006....).
Formally led by our oldest, JACK, the video tradition has been taken over by his little brother, Ariel!
We hope you enjoy it!
PURIM TOWN ROAD:
[Chorus 1]
Yeah, we're gonna give Mishloach Manos to the whole wide world
We’re gonna….. drive, 'til we can't no more
Snacks for the neighbors, and cash for the poor
We’re gonna….. drive, 'til we can't no more
The food is in the back
With labels all attached
Mom tried to include
Some dorky healthy sna-a-ack
30 in my class
teachers and some staff
2 go to my Rebbe
Cuz he also teaches ma-a-ath
[Chorus 2]
Drivin' around on Purim
I ain't doin… nothin'
Drivin' around on Purim
I ain't doin… nothin'
Visiting the Rah-Bi
Money to the Gah-Bi
Stuck in heavy traffic
Sitting next that guy
Dudes are wearing dresses
Messy drunks, and fressers
Pass me some more junk food
Cuz I aint had no breakfast
[Chorus 2]
Drivin' around on Purim
I ain't doin… nothin'
Drivin' around on Purim
I ain't doin… nothin'
We're gonna give Mishloach Manos to the whole wide world
We’re gonna….. drive, 'til we can't no more
Snacks for the neighbors, and cash for the poor
We’re gonna….. drive, 'til we can't no more
Back track, cross town, Donald needs the bathroom
I can’t believe he stole my harry potter costume
Trump & Bernie costumes, don’t forget to fake a laugh
Fortune Cookies and Corona – REALLY?
Next year, I’m gonna skip all that!
I’m gonna stay at home, and just give stuff back
I say that every year, then I go right back
And then I, Driiiive 'til I can't no more
[Chorus 1]
Yeah, we're gonna give Mishloach Manos to the whole wide world
We’re gonna….. drive, 'til we can't no more
Snacks for the neighbors, and cash for the poor
We’re gonna….. drive, 'til we can't no more
