Prequalification Round Results | Cologne | Wonderful Song Contest #53

► Welcome to the Prequalification Round Results, for Wonderful Song Contest #53. The contest took place in Cologne after the German victory in the 52nd edition. A total of 64 countries competed in Wonderful Song Contest 52. The 52nd edition was win by Germany and their song "Gotta Let Go" by Hypanda ft. IA, which got a total of 278 points.Prequalified countries for this edition are: Germany, Spain, France, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan. They are directly qualified to the final, while the other competing countries are split into two semifinals. Japan and Venezuela are withdrawing for current edition. The Semi Final allocation draw took place on 1st March 2020 at the WBU headquarters in Prague.

▸ The 53rd edition of the Wonderful Song Contest consists of Prequalification Round with 16 acts, only 7 will qualify to Semifinals, 2 Semi Finals with 21 acts, only 10 of each Semi Final will make it to the Grand Final consisting of 26 acts (10 qualifiers of the 2 Semi Finals + the BIG 6 and 6 Prequalified countries )
