Our Eco House in Costa Rica is finally finished

After almost three years of construction - with a few relaxed breaks in between - the time has come. Our eco house in Costa Rica is finally ready!
Yaayy!
In 2016 we decided to start the adventure of building a house in a foreign country. Construction started at the beginning of 2018, and now at the beginning of 2021 we are completely finished with the house.
Although I did the site management myself, I was actually on site less than half the time. Most of the time I managed everything (procurement of materials, management of the various construction crews) via Whatsapp.
In retrospect, considering the many problems that could have happened everything went very well!

Now we are still building on the apartments underneath the main house. They can, either way, accommodate guests or our children and their families in the not too distant future.
