#letsdoasongeachnightwhilewecan (day 62) - Well, song? That's not yet A song, as in completely finished ???? don't take this series too serious, please, i know i don't.. It's just a song a day.. Wrote it in january of 1992, so the first sheet states.. It's my own kinda Tony Joe White tribute, since he's one of my Childhood heroes in music. Finally got to see him live just once in Hellendoorn with my oldest son Tom, where we stood up front and i filmed a bit for memory..

Got a pile of his original vinyl and a pile of cd's.. The man was great, just great. His masterpieces to me include all his recordings with Waylon Jennings for almost all The Hoss albums since the early 80s.. Tony Joe White is on almist all of them as he was a dear friend to Waylon Jennings. My favorite duet of them being 'So, you want to be a cowboy singer", one they wrote together. Waylon didca lot of Tony Joe White songs and even did his' Trouble Man' on The Highwaymen Tour.. Songs on Hoss' albums written by Tony Joe White like 'Billy', 'Hanging on' and a bunch of other great songs.. And then ofcourse Tony Joe White worked with and wrote for Tina Turner.. Yep the better part of that whole album with 'Stormy Windows' on it.. He is the guitar player in the video, too (as in record)

Let's not forget his works..

He deserves to be remembered as one of the greatest ever, this picker from Oakgrove, Louisiana..
