[ Global Sensation BTS Returns Home ]

BTS, the K-pop boy band that’s been causing a global sensation, performed at London’s Wembley Stadium, which is the dream stage for artists worldwide, on June 2. They’ve finally returned home, and they held fan meetings in Busan on June 15 and 16 and in Seoul on June 22. The members of their fan club, ARMY, began celebrating with one another ahead of the fan meeting in Seoul, and 150 of them enjoyed an after-party at a restaurant that’s been known to be frequented by the group. We go on the scene to check out the festivities that took place at the Gymnastics Stadium of the Olympic Park and 88 Grass Field as well as the after-party, where fans came together to celebrate the global K-pop sensation’s return home.

[ Bringing Quality Ingredients from Farm to Table ]

There are farmer-chefs presenting dishes that are unfamiliar to the busy urbanites who are used to instant food. Every morning, they head out to their small-scale farm, where they grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs, and use the freshly picked produce to make healthy dishes at their restaurant. They are implementing a “farm-to-table” policy in order to offer food that’s fresh, high quality, and safe to their customers and allow them to experience the joy of eating food made with locally sourced ingredients. [ Unstoppable Passion at the Busan Tango Marathon ]

Tango is known as a passionate dance! And there are people dancing tango for 12 hours a day for three days straight at the Busan Tango Marathon. The marathon taking place for the third time this year drew some 300 participants across the country and the world. There is no need to keep records of anything, as the participants aren’t there to win a prize. They are all there to simply enjoy dancing tango to the sensuous and passionate music played by the DJ in the ballroom. What is the appeal of tango, which is described as a “conversation between two dancers”? We take you to the Busan Tango Marathon to see the beauty of tango and meet the passionate dancers!

지난 6월 2일. 세계 음악인들의 꿈이라 불리는 영국 웸블리스타디움을 뜨겁게 달군 뮤지션, BTS! 그들이 고국인 한국에 돌아와 글로벌 팬 미팅 행사를 연다. 6월 15일, 16일 부산에 이어 드디어 6월 22일 서울에서 전 세계 ARMY들과 만난다는데~ 그들의 귀환을 기다렸던 ARMY들은 공연이 시작되기 전부터 그들만의 축제를 시작한다고~ 또 팬 미팅이 끝난 후에는 150명의 ARMY들이 BTS 성지로 유명한 식당에서 못다한 열정을 불사를 계획이라는데! 공연장인 '올림픽공원 체조경기장'과 '88잔디마당'의 생생한 현장 분위기와 ARMY들의 화끈한 뒤풀이까지! 그 뜨거운 현장을 따라가 본다.

우리가 먹는 음식은 어디서 시작된걸까? 인스턴트에 익숙한 도시인들에게 식재료의 중요성을 알리는 셰프가 있다. 아침마다 텃밭으로 출근해 농작물을 키우고, 이 농작물로 요리를 하는 청년 농부들이 바로 그 주인공! 좋은 식재료의 맛과 가치를 도시 사람들에게도 알리고 싶어서 시작했다는데... 바람과 해를 잘 맞아 향기가 진한 허브, 가장 맛있을 때 수확한 쌈채소 등. 건강과 신선함을 넘어 가장 훌륭한 맛을 내기 위해 '팜 투 테이블'을 고집하는 청년 농부들. 이들이 전하는 건강한 한 끼는 과연 어떤 맛일까?

[ 멈출 수 없는 열정, 부산 탱고 마라톤 ]

정열의 춤, 탱고! 탱고의 초창기 명칭은 ‘바일리 꼰 꼬르떼(baile con corte)’, ‘멈추지 않는 춤’이라는 뜻이었다. 실제로, 하루 12시간 씩, 3일간 탱고를 추는 사람들이 있다. 부산에서 열리는 [탱고 마라톤]. 올해로 3회째를 맞이하는 이번 행사에는 외국인과 한국인을 합해 참가자만 300명. 기록을 잴 필요 없다. 우승자를 뽑지도 않는다. 그저 오롯이 탱고를 즐길 뿐! DJ는 강렬한 탱고 음악으로 참가자들의 발길을 이끌고, 참가자들은 춤으로 소통하는데... 과연, 탱고의 어떤 매력이 이들을 춤추게 하는 걸까? 탱고를 사랑하는 이들의 축제, 부산 탱고 마라톤 현장을 소개한다.
