And thus did Merlin succeed Arthur and become a minstrel!
In the late 60s and 70s a lot of European actors and actresses tried their hand at singing.Richard Harris and Albert Finney did it with mixed results, all of which are available on YouTube, and, after proving his talent on a late night television chat show,it was Nicol Williamson's turn. My opening comment was because Richard Harris played King Arthur in the movie Camelot (1967)and later on stage, and Nicol Williamson played Merlin in the movie Excalibur (1981). it is probably one of those cosmic coincidences that Nicol opens his album with the song Richard Harris had sung first.
