Neil Percival Young is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter, who in opposition to his name is famous for singing like an old man. This turns out to have been a genius move because as the years have gone by, his singing voice has barely changed. Now, as Mr Young stands on the verge of octagenarianship, he remains a powerful performer although it is notable that he has dropped the song “Old Man”, originally written when Mr Young was 26 years old, from his current setlist. Mr Young is married to Darryl Hannah who used to be a mermaid but is now active around climate change issues both in the sea and on land.
