Mike Johnson is Country Music's No.1 Black Yodeler. His unique combinations of the Jimmie Rodgers, cowboy, and Swiss yodeling styles firmly established him as such. He has written over 150 yodeling songs and 114 of them were acquired for their collection by the Recorded Sound Reference Center at the Library of Congress in Washington DC in April 2007.

James will receive a 2016 "Instrumental CD of the Year" award for his Instrumental CD "Country Sounds" and Mike will receive a 2016" Lifetime Achievement" Award for nearly 30 years involvement in Country Music. "Hey Whatcha Doin'" was written by Mike Johnson.
