I treated myself to a trip to Nashville last year the weekend before New Year's into New Year's. I got really lucky that the great Mike Henderson was playing the Bluebird that Monday and after a long wait in line, I got in. That was the only night with a previously unplanned show so I really lucked out. It was an incredible show. On that trip, if I wasn't at shows, I was at record stores, the Johnny Cash Museum, and just tooling around Nashville.

Sunday - Robert Earle Keen at the Ryman Theater w/Shiny Ribs
Monday - Mike Henderson at the Bluebird Cafe
Tuesday - John Prine at the Grand Ole Opry on New Year's Eve with the Secret Sisters and Marty Stuart opening, and Kelsey Waldon, Margo Price, Kurt Vile, both openers, and others making guest appearances.
