The quintessential @KrisKristofferson-penned "Me & Bobby McGee". He passed away in late September, so consider this a tiny tribute of sorts to commemorate his legacy. While this is amongst only three Kristofferson tunes I have in my repertoire, it's certainly my most-performed. You can tell by the jovial background singing of CapitalCare Norwood CHOICE Day Program residents from a gig I did there recently that it is a certified classic.

For those unaware, a good portion of my work as a live performer is carried out at long-term care facilities in Edmonton and surrounding areas. In my experience, a majority of the residents I have the privilege of entertaining are of the demographic that tends to most appreciate the era of music I draw my catalog from. The fact that I'm able to play some of my most favorite songs that also happen to resonate with these audiences, whether by bringing back happy memories or aiding them in cognitive function, is why I am both honoured to perform in this capacity on a regular basis, and proud to say that it is a crucial ingredient to the pie that is my career in music.
