The novel diabetes drugs can seem like an alphabet soup with exciting new mechanisms and innovations. At our next Medicine Grand Rounds, Sarah Kim will demystify the latest diabetes management drugs and explore the current state and future of continuous glucose monitoring devices. From the latest advances in the management of both type 1 and type 2, this talk will be a comprehensive and clinically relevant update in the field.

Sarah Kim, MD is professor of Medicine and clinician-educator in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at UCSF Health and ZSFG. Boarded in adult endocrinology as well as general pediatrics, her clinic work has focused on adult diabetes and adult and pediatric obesity. Sarah directs the UCSF Diabetes Teaching Center where she focuses on diabetes educational programs and serves as a co-investigator on diabetes research studies.
