First released on his Album "Easter Island" in 1978, this song was later sung by The Highwaymen around 1990 - with the variety of vocal tones by Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash adding depth and meaning to the simple chord structure and words of Kristofferson's original concept. The added guitar wizardry Reggie Young make the band a not so secret hidden pleasure of mine! Wish I could get ukulele groups to play their music.....
