This early Johnny Cash tune, "Big River," is a favorite of mine. It takes you on a tour down the Mighty Mississippi, and lists some famous old river towns on the way.

Every time I play it over the border in Minnesota, I always point out that it starts up in St. Paul. Also, it's easy to remember the words when they run north to south!
