This is Linda's first appearance on the Johnny Cash Show in 1969. The lovely Linda sings a duet with the legendary Johnny. A song called "I Never Will Marry" The original lyrics depict a young woman's plunge into the sea to reunite with her drowned sailor lover. The Carter Family released a rendition of these lyrics in 1938. In 1977, Fred Hellerman penned a revised version, which Linda Ronstadt included on her 1978 album "Simple Dreams."
