Las Vegas Raiders Allegiant Stadium update and Gary Reese Freedom Park Raiders themed kids playground taken on Monday, July 5, 2021. The video starts at Gary Reese Freedom Park which is located at 850 N. Mojave Rd. Fox 5 and the Raiders recently redid the kids play area at this park. I stopped by to check it out. You can see that the play area is Silver and Black and has the giant Raiders Helmet for the kids to play in. There were also two football/soccer fields with new turf on them. Not sure if they were part of the update. This is a great place to bring your little Raiders fans to play.
Last Saturday was the first full capacity event at the Stadium. This Saturday will be the Sold Out Garth Brooks concert. I haven't heard an official number of people but I'm thinking it should be close to 70,000 people attending. Only a little over a month for Raider Nation to attend our first game in the Stadium. Preseason against the Seahawks on August 14, 2021.
Crews were not at the Stadium today working on the Prismview Media mesh video screen. I'm not sure if they are done with it or are only off because of the holiday weekend.
