Cash also recorded this tune to a song he wrote, "Vergie", which appeared on his Personal File collection. Cash's melancholy voice and the haunting tune, are sublime; it was released as a single reaching #46 on the Country charts.

From a rare promotional LP, sent to radio stations for airplay, this take does not feature the sound effects from the official album release. It allows the listener to appreciate the songs as standalones.
