Jennifer Lopez sang a medley of This Land is Your Land and America the Beautiful before Lady Gaga performed a dramatic version of the US national anthem. It was then the turn of country singer Garth Brooks who stripped it right back as he sang an unaccompanied version of Amazing Grace.
