The rain in Pascagoula this morning seemed to be perfect for this little Kristofferson song. His girlfriend Janis recorded it as a surprise for him, but she died of an overdose before she could tell him. This is why her lyrics are slightly different from the ones he wrote. It became her best known hit, but she never saw its success. Life is good. I'm anxious to help you make it even better.
