I sat next to a fellow whose father was a reporter for the Nashville Banner and as a kid got to sit on the hay bales on the stage at the Ryman in ‘48 and shook Hank Williams’ hand. I shook his hand when we parted. Same guy went to see Kris in Connecticut in the 70’s but he was too stoned to go on.
