Kandi Burruss got emotional while sharing a conversation she had with her 4-year-old son, Ace about the Black Lives Matter movement. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Andy Cohen that her son was confused by the recent protests. “So, the police are the bad guys?” Ace asked Burruss. “Now, isn’t that crazy to have to explain that to a 4-year-old? For you to be black and have to worry about the police being the bad guys?” the reality star said amid tears on Watch What Happens Live. “I know y’all say I cry all the time, but that’s an emotional thing for me.”
Garth Brooks is hitting the road. Brooks announced on Good Morning America that he will host a concert event at 300 drive-in theaters across the country beginning June 27th. “I am so excited to get to play again,” the country superstar said in a statement. “This drive-in concert allows us all to get back to playing live music without the uncertainty of what would be the result to us as a community. This is old school, new school, and perfect for the time we are in.”
Coachella is officially canceled for 2020. The popular music festival held annually in Indio, California was originally scheduled for April. The celeb filled festival was postponed until October due to the coronavirus pandemic but it has now been cancelled along with the country music festival Stagecoach. Travis Scott, Calvin Harris and Frank Ocean were set to headline Coachella.
