Waylon Jennings, born on June 15, 1937, in Littlefield, Texas, was a pioneer of the outlaw movement in country music. Famous for singing the theme song for "The Dukes of Hazzard," Jennings left an indelible mark on the genre before passing away in 2002. Interestingly, on the same day Jennings was born, tragedy struck in Kashmir, where 16 members of a German mountaineering expedition lost their lives in an avalanche on Nanga Parbat, the ninth tallest mountain in the world. #WaylonJennings #OutlawCountry #CountryMusic #Legend #June15 #1937 #LittlefieldTexas #DukesOfHazzard #NangaParbat #Mountaineering #Kashmir #GermanExpedition #Avalanche #Tragedy #MusicHistory #MountainClimbing #CountryLegend #HistoricalEvents #NinthTallestMountain #MusicAndTragedy
